A: My price starts at £8.50 to shorten plan hemmed trousers and jeans. More complicated hems, such as turn-ups and cavalry hem cost more because they take longer
Q: How much would you charge to shorten my dress or skirt hem?
A: Prices start at £15 for a lined garment, but variation in styles can cost more. Ask me for a quote first.
Q: Do you make or alter curtains?
A: Yes. I can shorten and lengthen curtains. I do not have space to make new curtains over 72” in length.
Q: What about cushions?
A: I make cushions, supply the filling and fit piping
Q: How do you know how much to shorten or alter the size of my clothes?
A: You come here for a personal fitting
Q: The hem of my dress has been torn. Is it possible to repair it?
A: Normally, yes. But I would first like to see for myself the dress and the damage. Phone me for an appointment and free consultation.
